Here are the instructions for turning on the Global Check in And check out. Also I will show you how to generate a weekly report for this. This feature will help those who do not want to use timesheet data from a work order, but instead want their employees to check in and check out through the day (like an in and out board). I will also show how to generate a report to show the check in and out info for a period.
In order to use this feature you need to turn on "General Check Ins" in the Settings -> Features and press OK to Save.
After this is done, on the dashboard you will see the following which is essentially the in and out board for the company:
Any user in the system will now see a Check In and Check out buttons in their "Home" Section. This is where the users will check in and out on a daily basis. All updates will display in the administrators view which is the in and out board.
At the end of the week it will be important to be able to view the check in and check out times for the week. To do this we have created a report in the Reporting Section called - "User Check in Report".
Once you have opened up the User Check in Report you will see the following screen:
Select the period that you want to report on and you will be able to see which users have checked in and out for the week. This is a sample of the report:
