Introduction
Enabling User Groups:
Before you can start scheduling employees into specific groups, you need to ensure that the User/Employee Groups feature is turned on. To activate this feature, reach out to ServiceBox staff via the feedback button on your secure site or by emailing [email protected] Once enabled, you can proceed to set up user groups for your company.
Setting Up User Groups:
- Navigate to the "Settings" link in the menu under your login name.
- Access the tenant tab and select the user group link within the Settings page.
- Define the different user groups that align with your company's organizational structure.
Assigning Users to Groups:
Now that you have created user groups, the next step is to assign personnel to them. Follow these steps:
- Go to the menu under your login name and choose "Users."
- Click on a user from the list and scroll to the bottom of the page.
- In the new information box, select the user group(s) to which you want to assign the user.
Repeat this process for all users in your company, placing them in the appropriate groups as needed.
Scheduling with User Groups:
With user groups established, you can efficiently schedule employees using the following methods:
On a Workorder:
- Go to the "Schedule" tab
- Select the User Group title from the drop-down menu.
- Input the start date and time as well as the end date and time.
- Click on the green checkmark to schedule the work order for all users in that group.
On the Scheduler (Dispatch or Normal Board):
- Choose the desired group in the lower left-hand corner.
- Drag and drop a Workorder to the All Day area or a specific start time.
- Repeat the process as needed to add multiple people from the selected group to the Workorder.
