Are you tired of receiving notifications in the middle of the night? Do you want more control over when you receive alerts? If so, you'll be pleased to hear that a new notification enhancement feature has been added to the system. In this article, we'll explain what this feature is, how it works, and how you can use it to your advantage.
The aim of this feature is to prevent notifications from being sent at inappropriate or unwanted times. The system now allows customers to set the earliest and latest times that notifications can be sent out. This means that if the system detects that it's outside of the set time window, it will wait to send the notifications until a specified time.
Setting the timing window is quite simple. First, click on the username in the top right corner of the screen. Then, go to the Settings tab, followed by the Work Order tab, and finally, the Day Before Setup tab. Here, you'll see two settings: "Do not send before" and "Do not send after." This is where you can select your desired time window.
For example, if you set your time window from 6am to 6pm, the system will only send notifications between these times. If you create a work order or schedule a technician after 6pm, the system will hold off on sending notifications until the next day when your time window opens up.
By setting your desired time window, you can ensure you're only receiving notifications during your preferred hours: emails won't wake you up or get lost in the shuffle late at night.
