Summary:

If you're experiencing the issue of your quotes going straight to "expired" status upon completion in ServiceBox, there's a simple solution. This article provides a step-by-step process to help you overcome this problem and ensure that your quotes remain active. By adjusting a specific setting, you can prevent automatic expiration and maintain control over your quote status in ServiceBox

Access the quote settings:

Log in to your ServiceBox account and navigate to the quote settings section. This is typically found under the "Settings" menu.

Locate the expiration field:

Within the quote settings, locate the field that determines the quote expiration period. This field is labeled as "Expire After Months"

Keep the expiration field blank:

By default, there may be a value entered in the expiration field. Clear the value or ensure that it is left blank.

Click on "Edit" button for each description

Make sure the "Expire After Months" field is blank for every description. Remove any value. For e.g., in the screenshot below, this field has a value of "0", remove this value of "0" and click on the green checkmark.

This ensures that quotes will not automatically expire after completion.

Verify the results: Refresh the quote page or navigate to your quote list to verify that the quotes are no longer marked as expired. You should now see the completed quotes listed under the appropriate status.
