Understanding Basic Filter Criteria:
The basic filter criteria that ServiceBox provides, allows you to define your preferred options. In the Settings tab, you'll find the Work Order Settings, where you can access the List Settings. Within the List Settings, you can specify the display fields in the Work Order List according to your preferences.
- To access Work Order list screen navigate to Work Order.
Note: You can access this screen from various locations, including the Work Order, Job Site, Customer, or Recurring Work Section.
Access the Work Order List Settings Screen:
- Log in to your Service Box account.
- Go to Settings
- Click on Work Order tab
- Click on List Settings
In the List Settings, you will find the display fields that can be included in your Work Order List. These fields allow you to customize the information you see in the list view.
Customizing the Custom fields for Work Order List
In addition to the default fields, users can also leverage custom fields to further enhance the Work Order list screen. Custom fields can be defined based on specific business requirements. When custom fields are set up for the Work Order, users can choose whether to display that information on the Work Order list screen.
Access the Work Order Custom Fields Screen:
- Go to Settings
- Click on Work Order Tab
- Click on Custom fields
- Click on Edit button besides the name of the field you would like to display
- Click on the checkbox "Show On Work Order List"
- You will see the custom fields displayed on the Work Order List screen as shown below
Sorting and Filtering Work Orders:
- The enhanced Work Order List screen also provides sorting and filtering options, making it easier to find and organize your work orders. By clicking on the arrow sign as shown below, you can sort the list in ascending or descending order based on the selected filter. In the screen print below, the Work Order list will be sorted by Created date.
- You can sort by the work order's creation date, status date, work order date, customer name, or next scheduled date. Simply click the button to find and choose the sorting options.
- By clicking on the arrow sign, you can sort the list in ascending or descending order for any option you select. In the screen print below, the Work Order list will be sorted by Status date.
Advanced Local Search:
ServiceBox now offers an improved local search feature within the Work Order List screen. You can utilize the search function to filter work orders based on specific criteria such as the Customer's first name, Work Order number, Job Site, or Location. By entering relevant search terms, you can quickly locate the desired work orders that match your search criteria.
