Summary:
When error messages occur during a sync process, it can be difficult for users to identify and handle the relevant entities involved. ServiceBox understands the need for streamlined entity management and has introduced an exciting addition to its Accounting Connector feature set. This new feature enables users to effortlessly access and verify related entities, such as Customers, Job sites, or specific Invoices, when they encounter error messages during synchronization. By providing direct access to these entities within ServiceBox, users can effectively resolve issues with improved accuracy and efficiency.
Note that the entity linking feature works seamlessly for both Sage 50 and QuickBooks Desktop.
The step-by-step process:
Here's how to use this new feature:
- Open your ServiceBox Accounting Connector section, where you manage your integrations with platforms like QuickBooks Desktop or Sage.
- Click "Start Sync" to Initiate a synchronization process.
- Once the synchronization is complete, you may see a list of invoices or transactions with validation errors displayed on the screen.
- Right-click on an error message to access related entities.
- If applicable, select the "View Customer in ServiceBox" option to open a new window displaying the customer's details related to the error message. Address any issues related to the customer as needed.
- If applicable, select the "View Job Site" option to access the job site page associated with the specific invoice. Address any issues related to the job site as needed.
- If applicable, select the "View Invoice" option to open the specific invoice that requires attention. Make the required changes or unlink the invoice to resolve the error.
