Summary:

ServiceBox received feedback that the old left-hand menu was not user-friendly. Customers had trouble finding what they needed quickly. To improve this, ServiceBox redesigned the menu by adding arrow icons to display sub-menu items directly. Now, users can click on the arrows to see all the choices clearly and access specific screens without extra steps. This change has made the menu more intuitive and easier to use.

The Old Menu System:

Prior to the update, the left-hand menu options on the production site would appear on mouseover. For example, when users hovered over the "Work Order" option, it would display sub-menu items, making it less intuitive for users to access specific features. This sometimes led to confusion.

User Feedback and the Need for Change:

Based on user feedback, it became evident that the existing menu system was not as intuitive as desired. Users found it challenging to navigate through the sub-menu items and access specific screens. This feedback highlighted the necessity for a more user-friendly and straightforward menu navigation system.

The New and Improved Menu Navigation:

To address this valuable feedback, ServiceBox completely redesigned the left-hand menu. Instead of hidden options appearing on mouseover, we introduced arrow icons that directly display the sub-menu items. This change has significantly improved the clarity of choices presented to users.

Easy Access to Features:

With the new menu design, users can now easily see all available choices. By simply clicking on an arrow icon, the sub-menu options expand, enabling users to go directly to the screen they need. For example, if a user clicks on "Installation Work," they will immediately see the relevant screen without any additional steps.
