Ensure Timesheets Are Submitted

The first and foremost step in troubleshooting timesheet sync issues is to ensure that all relevant timesheets are properly submitted within ServiceBox. Timesheets marked as "Submitted" are eligible for syncing, while unsubmitted ones will not be processed. Double-check the submission status of your timesheets to ensure they are ready for synchronization.





Check Connector Settings

Navigate to the connector settings within your ServiceBox account to review and verify the 'Timesheet Import Date.' It's crucial to ensure that the import date is accurately set to include the timesheets you are trying to sync.

  • Open the QuickBooks Online




  • Navigate to "Settings"
  • Click on "Timesheets" tab
  • Ensure that the 'Timesheet Import Date' is correctly set to include the timesheets you are trying to sync.


Customer and Jobsite Verification

Verify that the customer and jobsite related to the non-syncing work order hours are properly synced over to QuickBooks.


Customer verification

  • Open the work order associated with the timesheet that is not syncing.
  • Click on" View Customer"



  • Click on "Detail"




  • Click on "Links" button



  • Ensure the link to QuickBooks Online is established




Jobsite verification

  • Open the work order associated with the timesheet that is not syncing.
  • Click on "View Site"




  • Click on "Detail"




  • Click on "Links"




  • Ensure that the Job Site link to QuickBooks Online is established
